Alex Grant
Environmental Scientist
Alex knew he wanted to pursue a career in Environmental Services when he toured a century-old hydropower plant that a contractor was rebuilding to help improve local salmon runs. Today, as an Environmental Scientist for KES, Alex monitors and samples water, noise, vibration, air, and soil to ensure compliance with regulatory permits. From encountering a moose on a job site to snowmobiling to a remote and mountainous northern region of Canada, every job offers a new adventure for Alex. Prior to KES, Alex performed consulting services related to the development of hydroelectric power projects in the northwest United States and British Columbia. Alex holds a JD from Arizona State University and a BS in Environmental Science from Washington State University.
