Professional Geologist

Michael has spent 40 years as a consulting environmental and engineering geologist and more than 27 years in the field. His experience includes extensive environmental management and technical support for construction projects, environmental compliance, soil and groundwater remediation, environmental site assessments, risk assessments, vapor intrusion assessments, preliminary endangerment assessments (PEAs), remediation projects, environmental due diligence projects, and engineering geology projects.

In all, Michael has managed or directed more than 300 environmental site investigation and remediation projects at commercial, industrial and public sector sites. He has a BS in Geology from UCLA and is a Registered Professional Geologist (CA #3347), a Certified Engineering Geologist (CA #970 LEED AP, pending) and a Registered Environmental Assessor (CA #2736). He’s completed 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training, 8-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operator Refresher Certification and OSHA Hazardous Waste Supervisor Certification.
